Celebrating Annapolis Pride!
Annapolis Juneteenth Festival
Joanna will be at the Juneteenth Festival in Annapolis on Saturday, June 22. The festival at the Bates Athletic Complex begins at 1 pm with performances, bands, singers, and food trucks. Joanna will be at the Democratic Central Committee of Anne Arundel County's booth from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Stop by and say hello!
Door Knocking on June 23
Our next canvass will be on Sunday, June 23 from 3 pm to 5 pm. We will be meeting up in the parking lot behind KB True Value on Forest Drive. This is a critical time to ensure we get the word out about my campaign and the importance of the Board of Education elections. Door step conversations are one of the most effective ways to get the message out!
Annapolis Fourth of July Parade
Joanna and friends will be marching in the Fourth of July Parade in Annapolis! As always, we are looking for friends and supporters to join us. The line up for the parade is on Amos Garrett Street, and the parade kicks off at 6:30 pm sharp, walking down West Street and ending at the Market House, just in time to watch the fireworks. Marchers will need to be there no later than 6 pm. Please email us to let us know if you are able to join us on Independence Day!
Thank you for waving signs with us!
It was always a blast to go get some fresh air, meet supporters, and wave some signs. Thanks! -- Joanna
